ロボット工学の論文読んでて出てきたテクニカル単語ですが，どーもコレ医学分野の用語っぽいです。
ググったら英語版Wilkpediaに載ってました。専門家のセンセーからしたら何アタリマエのことを大げさに記事に書いとんじゃと思うかもしれませんが，忘備録として書いときます。
A coronal plane (also known as the frontal plane) is any vertical plane that divides the body into ventral and dorsal (belly and back) sections.It is one of the three main planes of the body used to describe the location of body parts in relation to each other.*1
A sagittal plane [ˈsæ.dʒɪ.tl̩] is an anatomical plane which divides the body into right and left parts.*2
The transverse plane (also called the horizontal plane, axial plane, or transaxial plane) is an imaginary plane that divides the body into superior and inferior parts. *3
- ロボットを正面と背面に分ける面が Coronal Plane
- ロボットを左右に分ける面が Saggital Plane
- ロボットを上下に分ける面が Transverse Plane
ところで coronal，saggital，transverse を使った面の表し方ってロボット工学でもよく使われる表現なんですかね？？その割にはググっても医学関連のページしかヒットしなかったのですが(だからこの記事書いた。)。
もっとたくさん論文読み込んで知識を蓄えたいと思います。
